Become part of your school PTA

At Hawthorn Academy, we believe that a child’s school experience is about so much more than lessons and exams. The memories they make, the friendships they build, and the opportunities they enjoy along the way are also what shape their journey. That’s why we are so excited to begin setting up a new Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and of course we’d love you to be part of it.

The PTA will play a vital role in enriching the life of our school. With your support, together we can create experiences that bring joy, spark curiosity, and give our children opportunities beyond the classroom. From funding school trips and after-school clubs, to helping us bring in specialist visitors, performances, or extra resources, the PTA will ensure our children have access to the kinds of experiences that stay with them for life.

But the PTA is about more than fundraising. It’s about belonging. It’s about parents and carers having a voice, shaping the life of the school, and being part of a warm and supportive community. By joining, you’ll not only be helping to open doors for our children, but you’ll also find friendship, purpose, and a shared sense of pride in what we are building together at Hawthorn Academy.

We are ambitious for our children, and together, we can make their time at school even richer. This is your chance to get involved right from the very beginning, to help set the tone and establish traditions that will last for years to come.
